Hi all, I’m Eric Smith founder of whitetigerfishing, a very passionate angler for over 50 years.

As an angler, I feel its mine and every angler’s responsibility to respect our environment and our quarry. This is a reflection on the products I choose to produce and seek specifically for the carp angler.

With over 50 years angling experience and travelling to numerous European venues to fish and gain my own experience, I was fortunate to catch a World Record Common Carp weighing in at 41.38 kilos (91lb 2oz) on November 11th 2012. This was a game-changer and the start of an idea…

As I was living in Spain at the time and using Skinned white tigernuts as a bait that were found just 180 kilometers from my house, it was the start of whitetigerfishing.

The Ethos is to find the best products possible to help make the angler’s hobby sport more enjoyable and hopefully enhance their fishing using whitetigerfishing carp products.
