Skinned tigernuts are the standard grown tigernuts with a special patented treatment undergone in Spain.
The absence of the outer dark skin offers far more options when adding flavours or colour giving more absorption into the nut.
These tigernuts are so fresh that normally 24 hours soaked in water and they’re ready to go. You can boil them if you wish to extract the sugar content and make them gloopy, but you will lose the sweet nature of the nut.
